Report:  The costly impact of GBV: Private Sector perceptions & realities

SocialCauses is proud to have contributed towards the latest report on GBV in SA led by Professor Corné Davis from the University of Johannesburg (UJ) in collaboration with Tiekie Barnard from the Shared Value Africa Initiative (SVAI) and conducted in partnership with Mid Sweden University and supported by KPMG South Africa.

The report focuses on the perceptions and realities within the workplace on the impact GBV has in the workplace. Interesting to note that 77% of of employee respondents felt GBV plays a big role in women’s career progress or lack thereof, making GBV an essential topic for development in the workplace as we address the issue of gender equality (SDG5 in UN Sustainable Development Goals)
